Nemo Lighting, founded in Milan in 1993 by Franco Cassin, is a name referring to the history of innovation that always inspired Italian design. Currently run by Federico Palazzari, Nemo creates the "The Masters" collection, a unique selection of lamps designed by the 20th century champions, such as Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand, Vico Magisttti, Franco Albini and Kazuhide Takahama. In 2020, Nemo acquired a historic company from Turin, Ilti Luce, which deals with research and development of innovative solutions in the field of architectural design design in museum, retail and external sectors.
The company's development has accelerated thanks to the takeover of the majority participation in Reggiani Illuminazione, a historic company in the architectural lighting sector, founded in Brianz in 1957. The company increases its design capabilities, with further potential of expansion, and acquires international recognized competences in a key high -end retail segment.
