In 1965, Chierowski took the position of lecturer at the Faculty of Industrial Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he ran a furniture studio. A perfectly promising career, however, did not satisfy his desire for creation, which is why he also cooperated with many furniture and design companies, including from HSW in Pabianice, Biotap in Warsaw and Zamel in Łódź.
In the 70s, Chierowski got involved in the activities of the Project Association, of which he was one of the founders. This association was aimed at popularizing the design and industrial design in Poland.
Chierowski was also the author of numerous publications on design and architecture. In 1994 he received the title of professor of visual arts, and in 2000 he was awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
The architect died on January 9, 2021 in Warsaw, at the age of 94. His contribution to the development of Polish design remains unforgettable, and his projects still enjoy recognition among design lovers from around the world.
